At Circle W Boxers our girls are given the best care throughout their pregnancy. From vet visits, extra nutrition and more, our moms are well prepared to bring her pups into this world. As their due date approaches, they get moved into their whelping area. During whelping our moms receive delivery assistance as needed.

ENS & ESI

Once puppies are born we begin ENS (Early Neurological Simulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction). This is performed from day 3 to day 16. ENS is known to improve cardiovascular performance, stronger adrenal glands, more tolerance to stress, and a greater resistance to disease. ESI improves confidence and nose awareness. We also weight the pups daily.

10 Step Handling

At 3 weeks old we move on to a more advanced curriculum set forth by Jeanette Forrey at 4E kennels. We begin 10 Step puppy handling exercises, to expose pups to various types of touch. This includes eyes, nose, inside mouth, tummy, down their back, tug on their tail, touch paws, tap nails, and tug their collar.
