At Circle W Boxers, the well-being of our pregnant dogs is prioritized, providing exceptional care throughout their entire pregnancy. Expecting mothers receive regular veterinary checkups and extra nutrition, ensuring a healthy pregnancy and successful delivery. As the due date approaches, they transition to a dedicated whelping area, where they receive attentive care and support during labor and delivery, including assistance when necessary.

ENS & ESI

Once puppies are born we begin ENS (Early Neurological Simulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction). This is performed from day 3 to day 16. ENS is known to improve cardiovascular performance, stronger adrenal glands, more tolerance to stress, and a greater resistance to disease. ESI improves confidence and nose awareness. We also weigh the pups daily to ensure each puppy is growing.

10 Step Handling

A more advanced training program begins at three weeks old, following the curriculum created by Jeanette Forrey at 4E Kennels. This program uses 10-Step handling exercises to familiarize puppies with different forms of touch, such as covering their eyes, rubbing their ears, nose, inside their mouth, tummy, back, tail, paws, nails, and around their collar.
